At the beginning of each turn, Da Vinci makes available some of his projects. Players, after looking the available projects, participate to a secret auction to win the first choice right. The winner will get the project he would like to have.

The pictures grant you a double advantage: more money at the beginning of your turn and victory points you get when you play them. But surely they are very expensive

Should I save money at the beginning?

Surely money is the most important resource of the game. Without money you can do nothing. But there is a limit in accumulating money (300 coins) so save money without spending it is useless.

Why is there a limit in the number of castles and the towers that I can create?

The limit is useful to avoid that DAOW became a defensive game. The same limit there is also for owned tanks and airplances to keep equilibrium among players.

I know that I can capture enemies' tanks and airplanes, but if projects are personalized how does it work?

When a player succeeds to capture an enemy's tank or airplane will apply the technologies he knows and not the technologies known by the oppnent.
